Mechanical processing

The Mechanical Processing Department has been dynamically and continuously developing ever since the facility has been launched. Currently, it covers 26 production lines, which include processes such as: High-precision machining, grinding, electron welding, friction welding and coating. The accuracy of the manufacturing process of each component is determined in a thousandths of a millimetre, and the shortest time to produce a part is only a few seconds. The machines and equipment in the production lines are supplied by the world leading companies, such as MTI, Micron, Muratec, Makino and Brother. Technologies used in manufacturing processes are cutting-edge and often constitute an innovation on the national and European scale. The knowledge of our employees allows us to implement processes that have not yet been applied at Sanden, such as friction heating of aluminium elements.
